Competition Information

This summer, the St George Football Association will for the very first time be running out of two host venues. The following age groups and dates will be offered at each venue:

Vanessa Street Synthetic Futsal Courts, Beverly Hills

  • Tuesdays – u7/8, u9/10 Mixed, u11/12 Boys
  • Wednesdays – Walking Football, All Age Women

*Note: There will be 1 field size for all competition games at this venue. The field size will be 32m x 15m

Kyeemagh RSL & Community Club Synthetic Courts

  • Wednesdays – U7/8 (Mixed)
  • Thursdays – u13/14 , U15/16 Boys, All Age Men

*Note: Field dimensions: U5-U8 (20m x 30m), U9-U12 (30m x 40m) & U13 – All Age (50m x 30m) 

All matches played in the SGFA Summer Competition will be refereed by accredited match officials from the St George Football Referees Association.

Player Registration Process

Important: All players must be registered on the MyFootballClub website and have a valid FFA number prior to the Competition starting. Any player not registered will not be able to participate in the competition until they do do. This is to ensure that all players are insured in the case of injury.  

  • Log into the MyFootballClub website at www.myfootballclub.com.au
  • Using your current FFA number choose ‘SGFA Summer Football’  as the competition package. Do not select your current club when registering for Summer Football.
  • Select the relevant age group package that you wish to register in for SGFA Summer Football.
  • Complete the player registration process

Team Payments

Team Entry Fees for both venues are as follows:

  • U5 – U10 – $900 per team
  • U11 – U16 – $1000 per team
  • All Age – $1100 per team

Teams Registering on or before Friday, 18 August 2017 will receive a $100 Early Bird Discount of their team fee. 

All Team Entry Fees MUST be paid in full prior to your teams first game.

Team Nomination Process

To register your team a Manager or Coach should complete and submit either the:

All players must have an FFA number and be registered for SGFA summer football via www.myfootballclub.com.au – see below

Registrations will remain open up until Friday 8th September 2017.

Do not use the Team Nominations form to register as an individual as SGFA will not accept individual player registrations.

Note: Competition regulations are currently being finalised and as soon as they are complete, will be published to this page. 

Insurance

Limited player injury insurance is provided through Football NSW and is included in your registration fee. The SGFA strongly advises all players/parents to review the policy (www.footballnsw.com.au) and address any perceived shortfalls in coverage by engaging their own Private Health Insurance and/or Income Protection Insurance.

Kyeemagh RSL & Community Club

The field at the venue is a multi-sport synthetic pitch and only rubber soled shoes are to be worn (ie no studs).
